The new round of state-owned enterprise reform has a higher position, larger pattern, and more urgent tasks. The Report on the Work of the Government reviewed at the first session of the 14th National People's Congress clarifies the key tasks of the reform of state-owned assets and enterprises in 2023. The report proposes to deepen the reform of state-owned assets and enterprises and improve their core competitiveness; We must adhere to the direction of classified reform, handle the relationship between economic and social responsibilities of state-owned enterprises, and improve modern corporate governance of state-owned enterprises with Chinese characteristics. State owned and state-owned enterprises should have the "two overall situations" in mind, bear in mind the "greatness of the country", accurately recognize changes, adapt scientifically, and actively seek change.
